COMPANY
History
created by my grandfather and taken over in April 1970 by my father under the name Ateliers Joseph MARY. I joined the company in 1970 before taking over management in 1990.
Located in the heart of the Mauges region, where the ceramics industry has played and continues to play a major role, the company has developed reliable and innovative solutions for propellers, mouthpieces, dies (MARFIL) and other wear parts
The first single-shaft molding machines without vacuum seals were designed and built by Ateliers Joseph MARY and exhibited for the first time at CERAMITEC 1997.
hardfacing products, quickly established itself as a benchmark supplier, notably through its ground fused tungsten carbide beads. In 1998, MARTEC became the majority shareholder in Ateliers Joseph MARY. The following year saw the creation of the BMI Group, bringing together Ateliers Joseph MARY, MARFIL and MARTEC under a single structure.
For many years, the BMI Group was thus made up of three entities, all working in
perfect synergy, drawing on their complementary know-how, experience and sense of innovation.
In 2019, MARTEC will break away from the BMI Group and join the DRAN-REB Group, expanding its product range under the registered trademark MADUR®.
