MADUR® Nickel Base Filler Powder
MADUR® powders are manufactured using the atomization process, which produces spherical particles. Powdered alloys are designed for spray hardfacing: the powder contained in a cup attached to the flashlight passes through the flame, which sprays and fuses it onto the workpiece.

Martec offers you two categories :
- MADUR® Nickel-based hardfacing powders which cover a range of hardnesses from 20 HRC to 60 HRC.
- MADUR® Nickel-based hardfacing powders with a hardness of 60 HRC, which are premixed with ground or spherical fused tungsten carbide
Nickel-based alloys generally comprise Nickel, Chromium, Boron and Silicon. Boron and Silicon give these alloys a deoxidizing quality that makes them ideal for wetting steels. The quantity of Chromium-Boron-Silicon determines the hardness of the alloys.
Powder hardfacing is used for :
- Repairing steel or cast-iron parts,
- Protecting new parts and tooling,
- Renovation of used tooling.
